Michael Sisco, who is an Eagle student at The First Tee of San Jose, recently attended the Life Skill & Golf Academy at the University of Oregon. Michael and the other participants were given full access to the university, visiting its dorms, training area, football stadium, gym, and more. The participants were also given numerous life lessons as well as access to exclusive golf courses, like the Eugene Country Club, where the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship was held. When asked about his experience at the program, Michael answered, "My legs, neck, shoulders, and feet hurt. But itwas worth it. This is an experience that I will never forget and I wouldtell other First Tee participants to go if they had a chance." Thanks for representing The First Tee of San Jose, Michael. We hope that many our younger students follow in Michael's footsteps and attend future Life Skill & Golf Academies.
