Why & How to Donate
The First Tee of San Jose develops youth through golf throughout the South Bay. Participants learn to appreciate diversity, resolve conflicts, build confidence and set goals for their future. Programs focus on Nine Core Values – honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, respect, confidence, responsibility, perseverance, courtesy and judgment.
Nine Core Values Participant Highlights The Life Skills ExperienceThe First Tee of San Jose is a program of the San Jose Sports Authority, the sports marketing arm for the City of San José. We work in cooperation with the City of San José Department of Parks, Recreation & Neighborhood Services.
We rely on the support of individuals and corporations. The charge for a young person to participate in a 9-week class is just $60. Participants are not denied enrollment for financial reasons. Please join us as we impact the lives of young people in Santa Clara County.
In 2009, we reached over 500 youth on the golf course and over 1,200 youth in schools and community groups. Your generous support will help us to continue providing affordable programs for our youth.
Contributions are deductible for income and estate taxes. Checks should be made payable to The First Tee of San Jose and mailed to:
